Full Wedding DJ Coverage Starting at $1,800

Your wedding deserves more than just a playlist. My full wedding DJ service is designed to provide seamless music and sound throughout your day, from the ceremony right through to the final song of the night, with the music tailored specifically to you and your guests.

Starting at $1,800, you'll receive up to 10 hours of wedding-day coverage, including music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception and dance. Your wedding includes a clean, professional DJ setup, professional sound system and dance-floor lighting to help create the right atmosphere as your celebration moves from one part of the day to the next.

A great wedding soundtrack starts well before the wedding day. Your service includes two pre-wedding planning meetings and a comprehensive wedding survey where we'll cover your musical tastes, must-play songs, do-not-play selections, special moments, timeline and everything else I need to build a soundtrack that feels like your wedding, not somebody else's.

You'll also receive a personalized guest song-request link to share with your invited guests before the wedding. This gives me a chance to learn what your crowd wants to hear ahead of time, while you still have the opportunity to review the requests and have the final say over the music played at your wedding.

Your coverage also includes up to one hour of rehearsal attendance, ceremony sound consultation, use of my wired microphone when required, and all setup and teardown.

Brief announcements and introductions related to the natural flow of your wedding are always included at no additional charge. This can include directing guests to important moments, announcing transportation or last call, introducing your first dance, and other occasional announcements throughout the day. If you'd like me to take a more active role in hosting and coordinating your reception, Full MC Service is available as an optional add-on.

Taxes

All prices shown are before applicable taxes. 5% GST will be added to all services.

Travel & Accommodation

Travel outside the Greater Victoria area may be subject to additional travel fees. For events approximately two hours or more from Victoria, overnight hotel accommodation may also be required.

When attendance is required on the day before an event, such as for a rehearsal, sound check or setup, accommodation may be required to avoid excessive or repeated long-distance travel. Depending on the location and schedule, this may require accommodation for one or two nights.

When a hotel is required, I will make my own reservation and include the cost in your quote. Don't worry, I'm not booking the penthouse at the Fairmont! I will always look for a reasonably located, economical hotel that provides a safe and comfortable place to rest before or after your event.

Any travel and accommodation costs will be clearly discussed and included in your quote before you book, so there are no surprise charges later.

Venue Access & Requirements

The client is responsible for ensuring appropriate venue access, adequate power and a suitable location for DJ equipment. Any venue restrictions or special requirements that may affect setup, sound or lighting should be communicated in advance.

Additional charges may apply when unusual access requirements, significantly early setup times, multiple locations or other circumstances require substantially more time, equipment or labour than would normally be expected. Any additional costs will always be discussed in advance.

Outdoor Events & Weather

Outdoor setups require adequate protection from rain, moisture, excessive heat and other conditions that could damage electronic equipment or create an unsafe working environment.

I reserve the right to delay, relocate or discontinue an outdoor setup if weather or environmental conditions create a safety risk to myself, guests or equipment. A suitable backup plan is strongly recommended for all outdoor events.

Safety & Respect

My goal is always to create a fun, welcoming and professional environment for you and your guests. I understand that events are celebrations and people may be enjoying a few drinks, but harassment, threatening or aggressive behaviour, or repeated interference with my ability to safely perform will not be tolerated.

Guests must also respect the DJ booth and equipment. Drinks should never be placed on or around equipment, and guests may not handle, move or interfere with DJ or sound equipment without permission.

If a situation becomes unsafe or inappropriate, I will make every reasonable effort to address the issue with the client, event coordinator or venue staff first. However, if serious or repeated behaviour threatens my safety, the safety of others or my equipment, I reserve the right to suspend or end services and leave the event if necessary.

DJ Attire

My standard event attire is business casual, typically a collared shirt, black pants and comfortable, professional footwear. I'm on my feet for most of your event, so looking professional while still being able to comfortably do my job is important.

If your event has a specific dress code, theme or attire requirement outside of my regular business wardrobe, I'm happy to discuss it with you in advance. Depending on the request, additional costs may apply or specialty attire may need to be provided by the client.

I'll always do my best to complement the look and feel of your event while maintaining appropriate, safe and comfortable attire for the work I'm performing. Unreasonable, unsafe or inappropriate attire requests may be declined.

Your event date is not considered reserved until the required booking payment and signed service agreement have been received.
